Yesterday I had a pleasure to see polish film for the first time outside Poland. It was “Katyn” directed by Andrzej Wajda at The JAMESON Dublin International Film Festival.
This film was so popular, that had to be played twice.
Just before the movie there was a meeting with actress Danuta Stenka, who played wife of a general. After the film actress read a letter from the director Andrzej Wajda, and later on there was an exiting discussion about it.
The atmosphere was really hot. There were Irish people, who during the discussion were convincing to let go the past and think about our future.
